Where ever a building is marked on the map, I've carefully thought about what it might be and placed it in the model. using accurate generic 15th century vernacular architecture. I've also included the 14th century spire which can be seen from most parts of town. I think this gives us a really good feel for what it was like to walk through Trowbridge pre 1439. To map the topography as precisely as possible I made a working model of the town centre as it is today, and a detailed model of a very small part of it (see below)
